The Role
We’re hiring a motivated Business Development Representative to cover a maternity leave in our UK team. This is a fixed-term role of 6–10 months, starting 10 January and reporting to Austin.
You’ll work closely with experienced Account Executives to research and build pipeline in the UK market. If you’re organised, persistent, and you enjoy working in a team, we’d like to meet you.
What You’ll Do
- Build pipeline by booking qualified discovery meetings for Account Executives across a defined territory and ABM target list
- Prospect target accounts every day by cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and personalised sequences
- Own inbound leads from start to finish: follow up quickly, qualify, route, and turn them into meetings and opportunities
- Build and prioritise strategic target account lists with Sales and Marketing
- Research each account’s structure, initiatives, buying triggers, tech stack and key stakeholders
- Hold strong conversations with Director, VP, and C-level stakeholders to understand their pain points, urgency, and decision process
- Qualify leads with a consistent framework (e.g., MEDDICC or BANT) and record everything clearly in the CRM so the handoff to the AE goes smoothly
- Stay closely aligned with Sales on messaging, account plans, next steps and meeting outcomes, and follow up on no-shows and stalled accounts
- Work with Marketing on campaigns, events, and account plays, and give regular feedback on lead quality, messaging, and ICP fit
- Hit your monthly activity and pipeline targets: meetings held, qualified opportunities created, and pipeline generated
